AUDES SAUL

Born in 1949 near Mole St. Nicolas in northeastern Haiti. He proudly states that he has never attended an art school or studied an art book. He began painting in 1970, first with rural scenes, and then with his highly stylized fishes wrapped around fruits and vegetables. He currently paints dogs acting like humans - which are known as his “naughty dog” series.
